In addition to national sessions, EYP España is known for the organisation of international summer forums. These forums are sessions of a similar nature to the international sessions organised by the international office, but which usually last two days less and are organised by  national committees exclusively. Much more time is devoted to cultural exchange between delegates, who come from all corners of Europe, through events such as guided tours of museums and emblematic buildings, gastronomic nights and presentations of songs, dances and intercultural traditions among other things. Up until December 2016, four international forums have been held:

 

• Iberian Forum 2009 - 1st International Forum of EYP Spain, held in Gerona.

• Iberian Forum 2011 - 2nd International Forum of EYP Spain, held in Gerona.

• Iberian Forum 2012 - 3rd International Forum of EYP Spain, held in Gerona.

• Hiber 2015 - 4th International Forum of EYP Spain, held in Zaragoza.

This year, Galicia 2018 will bring together 150 young people, organisers, speakers and volunteers, from all corners of Europe to discuss the problems that concern us under the theme of this session "seeding the future" through of which the participants will be aware of the need to work today if we want, tomorrow, to reap the fruits of a better future.

GIF will be held in 3 different places, during a week in July. It will start in Vigo, followed by the famous Illas Cíes and finishing off with the city of Santiago de Compostela, thus combining Vigo's modernity, the natural landscape of the Cíes and the cultural environment of Santiago. This will be the first session in EYP España that will take place in two different cities, thus posing a challenge that the team of organisers is determined to overcome. In addition to being the first International Forum held in Galicia, a region that has been a recent addition to EYPE.

It will undoubtedly be a pioneer event that will mark a before and after in Galicia, in Spain and in Europe. For the first time in a session of this caliber in our country, of all the proposals made by the participants will be a viable project to make reality in our country. Thus, the impact that this project will have goes beyond the individual development of the participants as it will also boost the growth and modernisation of Galicia.
