One of the main objectives of the European Youth Parliament España is to select the students that will represent Spain in the international EYP sessions that take place three times a year in different European cities. This was the objective of the last national sessions in Girona (2007), Banyoles (2007), Seville (2008), Barcelona (2009), Zaragoza (2010), Madrid (2011), Sitges (2012), Bilbao (2013), Valencia (2014), Seville (2015), Palma de Mallorca (2016), Girona (2017), Córdoba (2018)  and Zaragoza (2019) that brought together Spanish students as well as a large number of international participants. As explained in the "Events" section, students will participate in the three main activities of every EYP session: Teambuilding, Committee Work, and General Assembly. Students participating in this session represent their schools, since the selection process is carried out over school delegations and only a few are selected individually.

 

The selection criteria of the jury states as follows:

 

• Knowledge on the subject of the committee, as well as general knowledge of Europe, which is important in any debate.

• Use of English, which is the main language in all EYP sessions.

• Motivation and desire to participate in every aspect of the session.

• Cooperation with the team and respect for the opinions of other delegates.
