Valencia 2019 is an official candidacy sponsored by the National Committee of the European Youth Parliament in Spain to host the 90th International Session of the European Youth Parliament in the summer of 2019.

So, once the application is approved by the international office of the organization based in Berlin, Valencia 2019 will become the second international session held by EYP Spain in its 13 years of history, this being one of the flagship events of the European youth in 2019, and the most important nationally.

The celebration of this event aims to demonstrate that borders are not insurmountable walls and that cultural exchange and dialogue between European citizens is an extraordinary opportunity, both personally and collectively. Focused on the European Horizon 2020 program, this project creates an open space for dialogue, cultural exchange, the demolition of social walls and critical thinking. Following the educational model of EYP, we want to give young people from all over Europe the opportunity to stop and think about the road they have traveled and the road ahead.

The activities that take place during the session follow the prototype of the 90 international sessions that have already taken place in different places across Europe with outstanding success; demonstrating that the program manages to fulfill the objectives established by the international strategy of the EYP office, which revolves around the pillars of inclusion, empowerment, social contribution, continuity and stability.
