Travelling to Zaragoza

 

As many will find themselves in the situation of having to land in another Spanish airport other than Zaragoza’s one, we have collected the necessary information on how to get to Zaragoza from the two major airports in Spain: Madrid and Barcelona. Options include: train, bus and plane. 

 

 

FROM MADRID BY BUS

 

There are several daily services. Approximately one bus every hour from 7am to 3am on weekends. The working days have a more reduced schedule. The departure is either from the South Station (Terminal 4 at Barajas Airport) or from the exchanger of Avenida de America, arriving to Zaragoza- Delicias station.

 

 

FROM MADRID BY TRAIN

 

AVE TRAINS: Approximately €50-60 per journey. Duration between: 1h15- 1h20 (stops at Zaragoza-Delicias). Frequency: one train every hour from 6am to 9.30pm.

 

REGIONAL TRAINS: Approximately €25-30. Duration between: 3h30- 4h30 (stops at: Zaragoza-Delicias, Zaragoza Portillo, Zaragoza Goya and Miraflores). Train Estrella (departure at 10pm), Regional (leaving at 10am), Express (leaving at 8am), City (departure at 5pm).

 

FROM BARCELONA BY BUS

 

There are several daily services. Approximately one bus every hour from 7am to 1am on weekends. Working days have a more reduced schedule. They leave from Barcelona’s North Station and arrive to Zaragoza Delicias Station.

 

FROM BARCELONA BY TRAIN

 

AVE TRAINS:  Approximately €60 each way. Duration between: 1h20-1h40 (stop at Zaragoza-Delicias). Frequency: one train every 40 minutes-1 hour from 9.50pm to 6am.

 

REGIONAL TRAINS: Approximately €30-52. Duration between: 1h40- 5h (stops at: Zaragoza-Delicias). Train Estrella (departure at 10.20pm and has a duration of 4h27), Alvia (departures at 7.30pm/12pm/2pm/3.30pm/6.40pm and it takes 2h20 to get to Zaragoza Delicias), Express (departures at 8.47pm/3.47pm- lasts 5h), City (departure at 3.15pm- duration of 1h40).
